He'd miss the first five games of next season though

Would only be 4 games, 3 games left this season. Can use 1 pre-season game towards the ban.

Will be interesting to see what happens with George especially as it looks like Wildie is leaving

My main worry re the hooking dept at the beginning of the season was the sheer amount of time it took our dummy halves to get the ball off the floor and into the air. We gave the defence a good 5m every tackle.

Sam was especially slow and that stunted the attack.

Squirrel Nutkins seemed to get the ball airborne faster so was happier with him in there.

However, the last few times Sam's been in at dummy he seems to have twigged that getting a move on meant more room to play in and George has seemed slower. Given George is a complete basket case at times I think, on balance, we'd be better off sticking with - and working on - Sam at 9 with Doyle covering.

Squirrel Nutkins, that's a good one.

Think he is at his top level in the championship, but he needs to get a grip of this temper and childish actions on the pitch, one more year then thats it unless he performs out of the box

You can, and have been able to for a few years now, use 2 pre-season games providing they are sanctioned by the RFL.

'Getting a grip' was what got him into this trouble in the first place :?

I think it’s a ridiculously harsh ban. George Burgess got the same ban for a blatant eye gouge.

Forget the fact superleague players have had a mere 2 or 3 games for attacking the testes.

No justice no peace

I think if you take into account no other factors then perhaps you have a point. But George has clear on-field disciplinary issues and bans already this season - the panel surely are more likely to throw the book at you if they keep seeing your face sat in front of them.
