Simply put, hes crap. A shadow of the player he once was. Lost his speed, always looks jaded, full of errors. Time to get rid of him, i imagine hes not on peanuts.

I think Joe is a confidence player. He's been like this before, after a period of games with no tries he seems to suffer. If he scores next game in first ten minutes it's likely he scores again. Then again the week later.

Paid far too much for him to be reliant on confidence. Some of the dross he’s served up today doesn’t warrant a spot in the 19 never mind the starting lineup.

I’ve said many times, Burgess is our most talented winger but his attitude looks off to me. When he’s switched on he’s terrific but he drifts and seems to have his mind elsewhere half the time.

His form went west when his one year deal was in the bag IMO.

Burgess has his strengths and many of them rely on the players inside him. The only issue I had with him tonight was his efforts under the high ball.

I just think hes finished as a top class winger. He no longer has the speed to beat players on the outside which made him so special in the first place. He always had an error in him but now that hes not offering the running threat in attack, the errors are less forgivable.

I said the exact same thing on here 4 months ago and was shot down. Apparently he was the best winger in SL.
