Aye go on then, let us know.

Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid.
Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.

According to wep warriors have taken on the lease.
They have not bought the facility

Robin Park Arena

I suspect that as a result of the DW Stadium now coming under the ownership of Chinese, IL has bought the Area as a insurance policy in case the worse happens over joint use of the Stadium at the end of the current lease.
Edge Hall Road
From what I understand, it has been sold for housing, but the Council have intervened because of the poor access to the site. Unless anyone knows different.

But and I’ll say it again Lenegan himself said they’d taken on the lease of robin park and would work hand in hand with the council, nowhere has it been said Wigan have bought the place, happy to be proven wrong of its in some article or other but I’ve certainly not seen it.

Hengirl,

You are indeed correct to say that it is on a lease from the Council and not been bought by IL.

A friend of mine has told me it is for 25 years,

Are you expecting us to believe that our wonderful Council are saying "Hang on, you can't build houses here"

I read an article recently (can’t find it now otherwise I’d link to it), possibly in the WEP.

It was an interview with IL. One of the things he mentioned is that we a permanent tenants at Robin Park and possibly looking to sell the site in Orrell but that hasn’t been decided yet.

It was in the evening post site. You’re right, he’s said we’re permanent tenants at Robin Park and whilst they haven’t done a deal to sell Orrell yet, they probably will do further down the line.
