Phil Gould was saying he was coming to SL on last weeks "Six tackles with Gus" podcast.
He is such a great signing. Just wish we could have got him but even if we'd the cap space and money he always preferred the South of France to North of England. Can't say I blame him.

Going from Matty Smith or Samisoni Langi to Maloney as your halfback has got to be the biggest upgrade in quality I can remember in recent years.
