Agreed.

Great start to his Wigan career but some things including his injury record I’m starting to get concerned about.

Hope I’m wrong but I’m not sure he has the bottle to complement his undoubted potential.

Unofficially the most boring poster on Cherry and White.

He needs to wear a head guard and see how he goes. When he’s on his game, Greenwood improves our pack significantly.

That'll stop him getting a cut on his head but that's about it. They don't protect from concussion (I was concussed playing rugby in a head guard).

The concussion issues are a side note really. He can’t do a great deal about them other than maybe work on his technique. It’s the little knocks in games he’s got, that turn out to not be much even though he’s looked at deaths door that are the worry.

Lam has spoken about him having to fight for his place now we have options and I’m pretty certain he’ll now be used as a bench option. That will hopefully fire him up and help him find a bit of steel to try and earn a starting shirt.

I agree, and not just where Greenwood is concerned. Personally, I'm getting tired of the lack of durability among our senior forwards.

Flower, Clubb and Lockers, and now Greenwood too, are missing far too many minutes of first-team action. Even if each time it is genuine, they're still no use to us because it means they are plain unlucky. Me, I just feel that, for whatever reason, none of them are up to the rigours of Super League anymore and that we should be looking to replace.

Dare I say things could be looking up for the back end of the season ?

Things are looking up but I still can’t see us realistically being in with a shout of winning the comp. As much as I hate saying it, I can’t see past St Helens for the treble.

We finish on a high this season, which doesn’t necessarily mean winning the comp, and take that into pre season and 2020 with a raft of quality signings and we’re in with a big shout.

We all said that this time last season.

Granted their bye to Wembley is slightly easier this year and with the new format they should make OT, but never say never.

I agree in the main though. I think if we can push to the last 3 of the comp and then bring in the likes of Hastings next season and let Lam have an off season in which he is actually in control and next year is another story.

If his record doesn’t improve much before the end of the years I’d be in favour of us moving him on & looking for an upgrade. Nice lad, decent player on his day but he’s worse than a tampon.

That semi final with Warrington will have left Hull battered, bruised, exhausted and devastated. They've been training hard throughout the hot week, whilst we've been self-managing and watching them run themselves into the ground.

The perfect scenario before Thursday.

Our lads were soaking up the rays across Europe by the looks of social media. They should be refreshed and hopefully ready for a huge push now towards the back end.
