You don’t rate him as a centre but as Wizeb says he’s been our stand out player, playing in the centre? He’s had no peer pressure because Carlos has been missing. He’s just been bloody well good.

So who's been better in our team than Griffin this year, and where has he predominantly played?

This has however been the best season for Griffin but our best centres when fit are Connor and Tuimavave and with Fonua to come.
Griffin makes metres and has shown already when moved into the second row just how effective he can be using his power and moving at pace breaking the line which is something we miss.
Its good we can always move Griffin back into the centre when necessary but and i will say it now Griffin will be a sensation next season in the second row
as his confidence will be high playing with and competing with what we believe will be some exciting new forwards joining the club.
So i accept that having been a critic of Griffin i really believe he will become an exciting running second row next season and i look forward to seeing that.
In the meantime i would start Griffin now in the second row with Minichello on the bench especially for the Warrington game as we are missing impact from there at the moment.

Why do you think griffin doesn’t make a good centre?

It’s ok he has a phobia of FC centres, he didn’t rate Yeahman either.

I’m guessing, he’s going to say , poor work rate , poor defence . If so , what makes him think griffin will have an amazing season in the 2nd row , which I’d say require more work rate and good defence . For me looking at the centre options next year , think Carlos would struggle to get a spot in my best 13
