So not only do you have to pay for the paper, ink and printer; you also have to pay for the privilege of printing your ticket off at home? Laughable. Embarassing.
I tried to buy saints tickets the other day and the only fulfilment option was collection. Tried ringing the ticket office because wanted them posted but gave up after trying to get through for a couple of hours. Waste of time.

I’ve printed tickets at home a number of times (home cup and WCC games) and never been charged extra. I think it was actually advertised as free to do so?
Still can’t get past the error screen despite entering my client code. Gave up and phoned the ticket office which incidentally was a very quick and easy process.

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions
I tried to buy 3 tickets for the Salford game. Two adults and one OAP. I had no issue with my client code and logging in, but upon putting the tickets into my basket is where the fun and games started. It was pricing one of the tickets as free, but unless I selected the OAP ticket as the free one it would bring back an error message saying prices couldn't be calculated. Once selecting the OAP ticket as the "free" one, I was presented with another error message stating that I couldn't buy more than 4 tickets, I would need to call the ticket office to do this. Also the print at home option was not present. So when I called the ticket office, the very helpful lady did sort me out with tickets and explained the above issues, the latter being only an issue if you want to buy more than 2 tickets which it then thinks is more than 4. I am intending on going to the Wakefield gamelater this month, lets see what the website has in store this time.
I've just gone back and re-read this thread because I've just gone through the same exercise.
Firstly, I am a ST holder. Which must make life a lot easier; I can understand how relying on a client code you have no idea of is inconvenient and confusing for casual fans.
But I will say this: I received (and I assume all ST holders did too) an email telling me my new client code a while back. Which is not quite old one with 400 on the front, as rogues says, although it is something like that. Anyway, I followed the instructions for password re-setting given in the email, and found it all worked perfectly well. I then was able to buy a ticket for Saints no problem. Which will be posted to me FOC. No need for printing at home now, although I can recall doing that in the past.
Conclusion: system seems to work fine for ST holders, but they should think more about non-ST holders.
BTW I actually buy most of my tickets in person at the box-office, and contrary to some comments, I have always found the staff there polite and helpful.

I am ST holder but not had an email and can't log in using existing client code. I've bought loads of tickets from the club online, including recently (Barcelona) so I don't understand why they have not sent me the email. Annoying.
It's just WIGAN, nothing else. Get rid of that stupid nickname.

Same with me, I haven't received an email from the club but a person from another forum told me to login the ticket site by dropping the letter R from the client code and adding 40 to the beginning.
This has worked and have reset my password after that ordering my tickets for saints away was easy and free postage too.
I haven't had an email and haven't been able to log on for Saints tickets either. What's more, my actual season ticket didn't work at the turnstile last week. Great hey?
