Well, there's 7 games to go and there's 7 teams who could make the Top 5. So does anyone think we'll manage to sneak into the play-offs?

Bradford's last 7 games

Swinton (H)
York (A)
Toronto (H)
Barrow (A)
Dewsbury (A)
Sheffield (H)
Rochdale (A)

I'd say we need to be aiming for at least 5 wins from 7 as we only have 3 teams in the Top 7 left to play.
York are looking to cause an shock and try for back to back promotions and will want to keep up their record against us.
Toronto are just steamrolling everyone in their path, but Kear might be able to get the lads to cause an upset, especially as by that point Toronto will be likely already guaranteed 1st place so there may be a bit of complacency to take advantage off
Sheffield seem to have gone off the boil recently and as we have them at Odsal, I'd say they're the most likely to get the win there.

Barrow away will be a tough gig. Never easy over there.

Making the 'five' was always the top end of any 'expectations' I had, so I'd be delighted if we could get there. Still totally think that promotion is a distant dream and is for another year but the higher we finish gives us more money for next season, unless they've changed that, along with everything else, but yes, I still think it's 'doable', though we are outsiders - just as we were in Toulouse, in fact.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves

Remember - Swinton also beat Toulouse at their place. So let's focus on beating them next week before we start worrying about games beyond that.

Keep winning each game as it comes and the Top 5 will take care of itself.

Agree, momentum is with us right now but any side can get a result in this league especially if complacency in the opposition creeps in. Sounds like Kear has a magic number of wins that he believes would see us make the top 5, we have some tough away games in our final matches to overcome. Surprise results like last night certainly gave a huge boost to our chances though. Think they said on the radio that only 3 sides have gone to Toulouse and won in 24 months, if true that is an incredible home record we overcame.

Because of your weaker points difference I'd suggest that you need to win at least 2 more games (or 3 league points more) than one of the clubs above you, it would be 3 for York, but I think your likely to overhaul their points difference if you win 2 more games than York.

I fancy
Leigh to win at least 6 games
Fev to win at least 5 games
York to win at least 3 games
Sheffield to win at least 4 games
Toulouse to win at least 5 games

So 5 wins for Bradford would probably allow you to overhaul York, but may require 6 wins.
