Now the runaway leaders are eight points clear, surely they will take this opportunity and rest players against us, giving us another chance to close the gap on the Wire to two points, should they slip again

Very much doubt it, they have Wigan after us which they will want momentum for.
The only fixture they could potentially rest players for is London, I don't think it's in Holbrooks nature to rest players unless it's down to fitness, he's on a 78% win ratio.

Rested players against Broncos and look where that got them. Cannot envisage doing the same again you.

I realise that but they will want to keep up their momentum and not knowing which FC side will turn up will probably want to field a near full strength side. You could force a narrow win or lose by 60 points.
Ironicaly they'll probably rest a few against London for a second time when they play them the week before the semi. Probably again at Headingley the week before Wembley (assuming they beat Halifax of course). They could have top spot sewn up by then anyway.

Think the top spot is already done and dusted, they won’t relish coming here “twice” without Roby, they are not the same force.
And as an aside I wonder if they bring 3000 fans to the KC as reported were at Warry, hope so

We've not lost a game yet and Roby hasn't been playing . putting that myth to bed .and I can see us sending a weakened team up to the KC anyway!
