I don't think any team *needs* the fixture, but we shouldn't be scared about saying it improves the game both in the city and RL in general. It is one of the stand out fixtures which draws in some of the biggest attendances and also biggest viewing figures. If we get relegated then them the rules and the fear is a little bit less this time knowing what the championship is about. Not ideal, but not life changing. But I think most FC fans would rather KR stay in Super league for games/moments/rivalries like we are having this week.

I would like to see Rover's in a lower division. Being the only Hull team in the Superleague would better commercially and help attract the best local players.

I’m assuming that your little riposte was aimed at me, if so my age is in the clue at the beginning of my post. Why you take umbrage god only knows. I did not say I want you to be relegated, again the clue is in “IF”. I merely stated my opinion, if you don’t like it, ignore it.
funny how after the magic game against rovers was changed at last,we end up playing 3 games against rovers in a season again.i notice wigan and saints avoided each other an extra game.what a surprise.

The extra 6 games are based on last year's league positions, 1st plays evens, and 2nd plays odds....
No conspiracy, and it also restricts the magic fixtures.
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

There is no stitch up - it was a pre planned fixture arangement and for the record Wigan and Saints do play each other three times!!!
