Even if Kelly doesn't make it we SHOULD still have more than enough to get a win (comfortably) with Connor at 6. He can be just as devastating as Kelly on his day. I ain't going along with this 'form doesn't matter in a derby'. Rovers are absolutely pants. If we can't easily beat bottom of the league, especially based on some of our great recent performances, then I'd be very disappointed.

Some just like to make up excuses for a defeat , so they can accept it if we do! Sad I know. I agree with you , we should be winning this comfortable

As a kid used to play in the fields where the Rover's ground is situated. Now well into my 7th decade since watching my first derby at Craven Park back in the mid 40's.
Never been any good at predicting the result so will sit on the fence and watch the match unfold when it kicks off here on TV around 5am tomorrow.
On the relegation issue I believe Leeds will not finish bottom with 7 of their last 10 games being played at home.

Unfortunately, having watched derbies for the best part of 55 years, oh sorry, forgot about the Dobbin’s 15 wilderness years, form really doesn’t count. The underdog usually comes out on top. Some coaches have revelled in them, a la Justin Morgan and most hate them. Radford gets it because he’s a supporter as well. Interesting to see how Smith approaches his first. Personally, I don’t like them and certainly won’t miss them if Dobbins are relegated. I don’t think we need the games as much as them. Hudgell certainly used them as a cash cow for the first 4 home games and that is why I no longer attend KC Dog Crap Park.
