Im not saying Wooford is or he isnt the man for the job but im seriously starting to question him now. Since the Wakefield defeat at the end of last season we have lost 21 and won 7. Our 7 wins include 2 wins at home to Hull KR and 2 wins against London.

He has made 3 appalling signings in Matagi, Uate and Frawley which he has to take responsibility for. The latter who is apparently home sick, so let him go.

Can he motivate the team? its beginning to sound like he cant. How much of last year was down to Thorman? Why do we struggle more than others team when we get a few injuries?

As it stands, we need to get rid of Ferguson (injury prone), Roberts (new deal syndrome), Ikahihifo (new deal syndrome), Frawley (not good enough), Matagi, Uate and think about replacing Murphy and Clough too who I think have had their time now and should be squad players at best. With the exception of Joe Wardle and Taai, our forwards are currently the worst in SL by some way. No go forward in any of them, simply get rolled by every team.

Was Woolford relying on making our metres from Jerry & Uate while having a more mobile set of forwards?

What do we need most for next season? 2 big props and a 2nd rower for me. Our lack of size every week is becoming more and more evident

Why do some of our senior players only look steady when playing with better players like Jerry & Joe Wardle? why is it when they play with some the youngsters they suddenly look like championship players? other clubs dont have this problem.

Our youngsters are certainly the only good thing about the club at the moment. I hope we don't lose them over the next few years because we cant progress.

Oliver Roberts is no more than a championship player since his new deal, last night he was invisible.

Ikahihifo we messed him about so much took his number off him, would you be bothered ?

Ferguson should have played.

Frawley should be allowed to go home.

Uate and Matagi are a waste of space and cap.

I disagree about Clough he was one of the few who appears to care about what he is doing and puts in 100%.

IF Cudjoe is fit and choosing not to play then he should be offered an alternative of play, retire or find a new club.

If he’s finished or not fit Woolford should tell the truth.

McKntosh seemed to have a ‘take his bat and ball home’ / disinterested attitude for much of the later parts of the match new deal syndrome again ??

We got hammered by one of the worst Wigan teams I have seen last night no excuses are acceptable.

Woolford ? He’s beginning to look no where near a superleague coach, now there’s relegation it’s a big call stick or twist ??

I agree his signings have been dire. However, i have been happy with his tactical decisions and analysis so far. Let's see how the next few games go to judge him, previous coaches have never been able to turn around a short losing streak without it becoming a massive one, our form always seems to go LLLLLLLLWWWWWWLLLLLLLLL, if he can get us a couple of wins against the teams we are to play in the next few rounds and get players heads up he will do for me. We are a poor side, and most of that is not down to Woolford but due to shocking player recruitment over the last few years, he has contributed with Uate and Frawley (i actually like Matagi, and think he would look much better in a stronger pack, he DOES have go forward)

The fault is that of the players. Our line speed is non-existent- and that’s down to lack of galvanised effort.
There are some who put in the effort- English, Darnell, twins, gaskell - but if the rest aren’t with them then they can’t go shooting out of the line by themselves.
I thought frawley did well last night in controlling things with his kicking- but what struck me was in attack we were passing back down the line and catching the ball stood still! It was like they were on the training ground not an (important) match.
Matagi as well I think could be a good player- but he’s the only one with any size and he can’t carry the pack alone.
Sebastine has gone down massively in my estimations- not just as a player but as a character- yes it looks like he’s been messed about, but if he had any thing about him he’d be doing his best to prove the coaches wrong and put himself in the shop window, not sure I want the kind of attitude he’s displayed to hang around-he’s proving woolford correct. Roberts has been a massive disappointment. Once his deal is finished I can see him going to championship. We might get a good season out of him in his final year- be interesting to see.
Final thought- Wish we had thorman back. He’s a good man manager and the kind of guy that can get the best out of people.

Taai has size, not Matagi.

uate - may be a different player to what we saw after his op so wait and see on that one.

think people know my thoughts on roberts, matagi and frawley by now.

ikahihifo - woolford ruined him, certainly knows how to get the best out of a player by wanting rid, dont blame seb way he has been treated.

ferguson has a problem with his knee so couldnt play

mcintosh ---- suddenly looking like the 'new deal syndrome'

thewlis - time he went, should have gone a long time ago, another just happy to take the wage, whole culture stinks at the club and starts with him

The only problem our squad has is there not playing regularly with each other it’s a different squad every week , I thought frawley was actually decent last night , Matagi runs hard and has a decent game maybe 1/5 and uate maybe be a different player after his op we just gotta wait and find out also believe we were putting a lot of pressure on young kids who arnt really ready for it

I must take issue with giants rl comments about Woolford ruining Seb, I was at the pre season meeting when Simon pointed that Seb had turned up for pre season training overweight unfit and with a bad attitude, this after a poor season, under those circumstances any manager would be right to question a players attitude. So no, Simon didn`t ruin him and the fact Seb has done very little when picked tends to support the coaches judgement.
