...….. Lisfranc (midfoot) injuries result if bones in the midfoot are broken or ligaments that support the midfoot are torn. The severity of the injury can vary from simple to complex, involving many joints and bones in the midfoot.
Good old google.
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Lol.
It all seemed a bit odd ccs, I thought Mahe from reports had been playing well, and was looking very good on the times he was shown here, then it seems for no reason, hey you can go now.

It does seem strange, I don't know when the NRL have to offer new contracts, but I'd assume he already knew he wasn't going to be offered another before the injury. Paying him off early gives Wests more options.
The NRL appear to be awash with money at the moment.
"Bulldogs offer Mitchell biggest deal in rugby league history, a 10-year, $11 million contract."
I fear SL is on a hiding to nothing at the moment.

I would love him back, if we can find a way to strengthen the pack and fit him in, lots of permutations, rumours, etc this season.

Even if we sign him, We would still have 3 non fed spots to sign 3 forwards.
I'm mixed about him coming back on one hand I'd question is it cap well spent, but the thought of him playing for another SL club makes me want to cry.
Not sure how long we will keep Connor or Kelly, if it looks like next season might be there last, May be we are thinking long term

I would assume if we re-sign Fonua, then Faraimo will not be staying
