Because that's what I said, wasn't it? The straw man argument; the refuge of those with nothing relevant to say.

O’Loughlin is finished, Williams is one of the most overrated players in Super League and Lomax is currently miles better, Flower is bang average at best and hasn’t made 100+ metres once this season which is pathetic, Greenwood is nothing special, Farrell is injured every couple of weeks and we’ll stick with Percival and Naiqama over Gildart. So yes they would indeed all be watching from the stands.

Remind me who one of the greatest coaches of all time picked at centre out of Gildart and Percival last year will you please?

It’s slipped my mind.

Seems folk on Red Vee think we are obsessed with them as we’ve gone to 8 pages, that’s a laugh every post they put on their pages they can’t resist mentioning us, oh and always in derogatory terms, never constructive......well maybe once or twice we get a compliment,

HAHA ..youve picked 6 wigan players in a combined 13.Is that why you are in a relegation dogfight and we are 6 points clear at the top.

For a top club, Saints have failed massively to convert quality into trophies. 1 GF in 12 years and 0 Cups for 10 years is a horrific stat. As I said 12 months ago, pride comes before a fall.

They need silverware this year.

23 - 20 - 4

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions

All 6 of them won the grand final last year. They’re very good players.

They were added to the list just to ensure the Team bus knew the way to Sir Matt Busby Way

What's the rumpus, Tom?

Spot on.

As for a relegation dogfight we are closer to 5th than we are to relegation (and are the same number of points away from 4th than bottom) but everyone seems to overlook that.

Here is a genuine question to all the Saints fans.....

Your equivalent to our side on Good Friday would be, and feel free to offer better alternative replacements:

Coote, Swift, Costello, Percival, Grace, Fages, Welsby, Walmsley, Lomax, Douglas, Peyroux, Ashworth, Lees
Bentley, Amor, Taia, Knowles

You then lose Swift after 20 minutes and move Peyroux to centre and Costello to the wing.

How do you get on and how many weeks can you play a similar side or a side missing your entire first choice pack (Walmsley, Roby, Thompson, Taia, Paulo, Knowles) before you start to lose games?
