Disappointed to see Westerman leave, he's been very good for us since his return (and his proclamation of his love for Hull FC) but if Wakefield have offered him more money and a longer contract you can't blame him. We didn't do too bad the last time he left.

There was talk about Kane Evans coming this season so perhaps this will now happen if Westerman is to leave imminently.

Still hopeful on Joel Thompson although that now seems unlikely.

No, he said "I don't think that one is happening" not that it wasn't happening. Nothing confirmed either way.

As successful as we have been over last few years we still arnt able to pinch players from other top clubs. We always seem to sign the reserves players e.g swift, tuson, ect which is frustrating.
Heard the Thompson to Leeds rumour other day and seems strange how we never announced it like the other deals so expect Leeds to have got him.
Kane Evans has played last two Parramatta games and seems back in favour and under contract so that might have changed. Really interested to know who the second confirmed signing along with Sao is

Think Huby agreed early release as don’t think he’ll much rugby the rest of this season due to injury. Think Westy staying until end of season and gone to Wakey as offered more and a 2 year deal as opposed to us offering 1 year
