I think you can knock nearly 50% off those supposed top salaries at the club.30k to 40k max.two lads in the 1st team on 10k and some reserve contracts at 3k a year or even pay as you play.average full time about 20k to 25k plus bonuses.1st team part timers 10k to 20k plus win bonus would be my best guess

All I've got to go on is that Batley's total squad spend is about £200k and Diskin claimed before our game early in the season we were spending about 3x that and should therefore win. So total squad spend of about £600k then.

Then we need to define squad!?!
First 25 players - like in SL?
Every player on the books?
Academy/Scholars would not count I would assume?

Pollsters doing Excellent job - say recent polls.

That said - he will likely turn it on when we play them!

I will take your word for it as I haven't seen him play recently.

But how wrong can he be (given that he's likely guessing..)?

Toronto obviously the big spenders, then Toulouse and Widnes - yeah, I can see that. Who amongst the rest would be spending more than us? Featherstone maybe? Leigh? Doubtful...

No idea what the total spend on salaries is or who we are spending more than, guess we will be in top 3 but it’s more the individual salaries he was quoting that I know, is definitely the case

Having watched the highlights we were hard done to by the ref.

Tangata’s card was the wrong colour. Late shoulder contact with the head is the behaviour of a pussy ‘ole.

That wasn’t an 8 point try is Webster not supposed to go up for the ball then? Garbage call that also the final pass to Grix from QLTwas forward.

when the time comes that a shot at promotion is likely and realistic (which completely depends on when toronto go up, and who comes
down - (eg. someone like london who will spend within their means and it won’t be a cash p*ssing contest)), then i think we will see two or three big money signings coming in to actually have a real go at promotion. one would hope that by then the young players we have are battle hardened, more experienced, and ready for a real tussle.

until then (and this for me is the depressing part and makes me not want to chuck out the £23 every weekend), we will be watching a young squad learning and growing together which will chuck out some inconsistency.

Don’t think that nail you’ve just hit on head could be easier to hammer

I can see why he gave an 8pt try. Whilst giving Webster the benefit of the doubt the way he brings him to ground is dangerous after competing for the ball. You can’t touch a player in the air after he has caught the ball yet alone bring him to ground horizontally

You’ve been drinking too many crappy unfined beers again. It’s there on the screen and it’s why tangata has been cited. Also if the disciplinary have found that the “biting” incident didn’t actually happen then Fleming should be cited for making such an accusation.
