How we didn't attack their left edge again and again with Murrell a passenger in defence I'll never know - even my 13 year old could see that, and Kear was out coached by a novice today.

congrats to fax though ... i wont pain myself looking on their board about how they beat the 'Dulls at Odsalum' ... in essence, they beat a side (just) because they managed better knowing our attack offers nothing. The rest of the season i just hope we 'have a go' throw the ball around more, take risks, and (god forbid) have runners anticipating a line break or even an (insert dirty word) offload.
Overall, very underwhelming performance. Yes, those conversion misses came back to haunt us and cost us the game but we lacked creativity in the crucial areas. 2 of our scores were from Fax errors where as Halifax looked liked they could pull a score off whenever they wanted.
Hard to believe that’s the same team that played Leeds last month. Losing Milnes is a hammer blow as well. Bad day at the office.
Hopefully Keyes back to cover Milnes, move Ryan back to wing and bring brown into fullback, not been funny but Ryan more affective on the wing for mine

Two more years of watching performances like that from Lilley. Absolutely stank the joint out today. Terrible kicking game, terrible passing game, terrible running game and now we can add a crap defensive read which cost us the game to that list.
And then he actually gets shortlisted for the motm! You can't make it up.
This Bulls side is the most abject attacking side I have seen in a long, long time. We are abysmal. And now we've just lost the only half with any creativity to a broken leg.

cant agree more about Ryan, his gift is finishing. Keyes will be a godsend if fit with hopefully no recurrence/sorted back problem
Well, that was just about to be expected. Well done Halifax. Having watched most Bulls matches live throughout the season so far, and enjoyed this level of rugby, I have to say that today was the low point for me. From a strong attacking start to the season, we appear to have become one dimensional, and dare I utter the words "we need good experienced halves". God help us that today was a measure of where we are for the remainder of the season, as nobody will fear us with our 5 drives / high bomb style of play. Minchella looks a shadow of the player he was at the start of the season, and we really are missing Ryan on the wing. Lilley tries hard, but he's not putting pressure on with his kicking game. Other than Peltier, I think our forwards are needing a good long rest, as they look to be out-enthused too often. Lets hope JK doesn't put too many of todays players into the Barrow match, as we just might get turned over there too.

Poor stuff today. Kicking game was woeful and I can barely remember any good end of set plays. Can't argue with the result, Halifax played the better rugby.
