Does anyone actually know when or if he’s going to return

Well, my old mate, Sy follows Joe Keyes Instagram (not me though) and texted me today to say that his most recent post was a picture of him playing and fingers crossed with loads of comments from players welcoming him back.

I saw that too. Hopefully he is over his injury issues and he can kick on with his season. I'm glad to see that he's almost ready but I certainly wouldn't be throwing him in against Halifax this weekend.

The game against Barrow, when we will surely be resting a fair few players, seems like a good opportunity to give him a run - maybe even off the bench

Not sure how far off he is but there seems to be a more positive vibe. We've missed him this season.

Absolutely agree with all that's been said, though it's to be hoped he can come back via the reserves (depending on fixtures) or be drip-fed back steadily from the bench. I'm sure he's still a million miles from being match-fit.
