Wouldn't be a bad year for Rovers to be relegated if COHA is being separated, would possibly give us more leverage securing the brighter talents. Should rovers get relegated, they'll have a tough job getting back up with the expected sides in the mix for promotion from the Championship next season. Our independent academy should go from strength to strength either way, but being the only SL side in Hull would definitely give us a boost in youth recruitment.
rovers going to get all the best players, coaches and going to make some really good appointments to the staff plus we're too skint to run a proper academy according to 2 rovers fans I know. deluded as ever

They have been saying this relentlessly for over a decade, going back to the days of predicting Kristian Bell and Louis Sheriffe lifting the CC at Wembley. I will examine the how all this bluster has panned out in my lovely chart.

Quick health warning for any Rovers fans following this, about Mrs B’s chart. It will contain some inconsistencies and/or assumptions that are unfair to our club. This is not because she is incapable of rigorous analyses of data (she is capable) or she needs to gild the lily to illiustrate her point (that Rovers’ production of good players has... well, it hasn’t). It’s a rhetorical ploy to keep the thread active and allow her to keep making the same point repeatedly. Some people like to argue (i’m one), which is different to having a row. So, I look forward to splashing about in whatever she creates for me/us. If it’s not your thing, don’t take it any more seriously than it is intended.
Right, I think ‘bring it’, is the appropriate phrase.

I fear I may not have managed expectations well. So if anyone can confirm please Hull KR's current homegrown players who have made a first grade appearance that would be lovely.

There'll be no relegation this year imo - Whoever finishes bottom will stay up, Toronto and either Toulouse of Bradford to accompany them - 14 team Super League
