Don't know where the Fonua rumour has come from. He wanted to go back for family reasons and was even willing to play reserve grade in OZ so very unlikely he will come back to this country unless circumstances have changed. I would actually like to see is sign players with real pace in the team.
Worth pointing out that Radford is a really big fan of Chris Green. The only issue I have with him is his recent injury record. He is a quality player imo. You won't find many 4th/5th props as good as him. If he can have a prolonged spell in the side where he stays clear of any injury then it's a no brainer to keep him imo.
We have played Green in the back row on occasions, not saying he is another Westy but does have reasonable hands. Also looks rather leaner since he returned.
Has always played decent minutes, low mistake ratio & has the asset of size, so draws in the tacklers. Would like to see him throw his weight around a bit more but if he is the worst player in our starting 17 then we will be a contender.
Can't be a big earner so to me I would keep him.
NB - is he due a testimonial soon - has been around the team for ages ?

Cannot see Fonua returning either. Since Naiqama left for Saints it has opened up a centre option for him too and he is now really established in the West Tigers team. Under a great coach with experienced players(Marshall and Farah) running the side and a very popular NRL player with the public and pundits.
Seems to be alot of negativity around the potential signing of Adam Swift. I for one would be happy with this signing. Yeah he has an error or two in him but most wingers have it's a difficult position to play in the modern game. One thing Swift does have in his locker is genuine pace which is something out wingers have lacked forms few years. If he does sign give him a chance. He also makes good metres from king returns which Radford likes
