Effort and commitment spot on for 80mins. Defensively we were great, except defending kicks which we are terrible at defending no matter who is on the wing.

Just need 2 more wins to confirm survival and then its season over and build for next year. Keep developing our youngsters and leave the likes of Cudjoe & Uate now to get 100% fit to go next year. Maybe look at giving young Oli Wilson a chance along the way with Kirby etc.

A few giving the senior twin a roasting on social media. But honestly did they do any worse than Uate has done under those? Difference is he’s at the end of his career with little improvement to come to his game, the seniors have and will continue to improve their game and are doing as good a job as he has been - for possibly about 100k less.

The effort from Louis (I think) for Murphy try was outstanding. Kick return were good too considering they are still only 18/19. They came up against the form wingers of the comp.

Great effort all around, just felt like saints were quicker in the ruck and had a touch more control.

I heard people giving Seniors stick also and saying look at them compared to Regan Grace. The Seniors are 4 years younger than Grace. They are going to keep on improving and developing physically. They will be ready made replacements for Jerry and Uate when they retire in 2 years and shouldn't really be having to play this much now. Would be nice to see an all homegrown back line in 2/3 years time. I think we should give Dom Young a full time contact at the end of this year and see how he develops in the full time environment. Young and Jake Wardle could be the replacements for Cudjoe and Turner. Although Sam Wood might fancy his chances, doing well for Batley in the centres.

feared a thrashing when i saw the team but so much effort on show lastnight, if they can show that every week we will win alot more games than we lose for the rest of the season.

few calls again didnt go our way but thats par for the course with us.

we had to do so much defending, expected us to collapse last 20mins but didnt.

hewitt looks like a star coming through for us, gone about his business quietly and woolford keeps picking him , can see why.

roberts his usual waste of space , what has happened to darnell too.... another way off since he signed a new deal... we cant afford players to have off days in this team they all need to play 7/8 out of 10 every week to win.

we are a much better team with gaskell in as it showed again and also clough.

few more bodies back for a big game next week now

Saints may have won but have a very poor performance almost playing one man rugby but our tackling was equal to it.Even Walmsley struggled.Feel Frawley for whom I had high hopes should be given a ticket home. Anonymous once again.

why is abbreviation such a long word?

More mackintosh bashing
Well of course the full back is always the scapegoat. Coote threw a couple of passes into touch- but saints fans weren’t calling him were they?
Let’s ignore the try saving tackle and skills on show yeah.

i have praised mcintosh on many occasions and wanted him to sign a new deal asap

but yes he has had two bad games since he signed his new deal... most fans see that... and yes he is still learning just stating a fact, get over it no bashing.

No it’s an opinion. Not fact.
A bit like your opinion that mellor “lacks” in defence.
