Halifax will be well up for this game and it should be a real humdinger of a contest. On the back of the wave of positivity from the Leeds match, we might well target another 10k crowd if they can price it right.
No chance of getting anywhere near 10k for this one. I don't even think they'd hit 10k if it was free entry!

I'm just being realistic!
We've already got what we wanted out of the cup competition this season anyway, a huge gate against a SL side. So really anything else we get is a bonus now. I would expect there to be 5 or 6 thousand there which would be decent imo.
I'd like to think that some of the fans that haven't attended in a few years will be back again for the Halifax game. The atmosphere yesterday was incredible and if the club keep the prices down I'm sure we could attract 7000+. Leeds did their part yesterday by bringing a good away following. Halifax won't bring anywhere near that number unfortunately.

I think Halifax will bring a decent following. Not so long ago, they had good followings for Good Friday matches against us. Remember it's a massive game for them as well - a good chance to get to a Cup Semi-Final!
The key thing is to pitch the prices right, Halifax fans are notoriously obsessed with Odsal prices

Well admittedly we will need a few things in our favour regarding the day/weather and time but I don't see why we can't aim high. I was told we wouldn't get 10k for Leeds by some fans. Now admittedly Leeds brought a decent following but I would estimate the split to be around 6-7k Bulls and about 3.5k Leeds. So I.think it's achievable if marketed.
Get into schools and make let's get kids in for nowt and make it a real family event. We have to seize on good publicity opportunities like this.

I look forward to the cascade of whining emanating from Calderdale, from their greatest humorists, featuring such golden oldies as 'the dulls' and 'odslum'. All done while keeping those chips firmly upon their shoulders.
In fact, they have just tweeted about the draw with their new hashtag: #BeatBulls
Where could they have got that from recently?
Nevertheless, a draw which will ensure a Championship team in the last 8. And hopefully a 7k+ crowd too.
Never trust a man who, when left alone in a room with a tea cosy, doesn't try it on.
First thing I thought of was try and beat Fax and then get another big pay day in the semi. Then get in the top 5 and to Wembley with the other cup comp then spend some money on getting Ryan Atkins in our left centre position when he leave Wire this year as he was very good today. It is all about getting money in right now so Kear can bring in a few quality players for a real push for promotion next year and the next.
