Wakey deffo another one id like to play. Don't mind either venue but obviously prefer Odsal.

We need to be realistic about this.

We aren't going to win this competition. And the game will be televised (all QF games will be on TV). That means if we get Halifax, it will probably be on Sky, because BBC get first pick. That means it might be on Thursday or Friday evening.

At this point, we need to be a maximising income. That means getting either Saints (assuming they beat Huddersfield) or the winner of the Wigan / Warrington game at home. We'd probably get on the Beeb on the Saturday or Sunday afternoon and can maybe push for 8-10K crowd and good payday.

Wakefield are apparently targeting the Cup this season (Carter said that on 'Back Chat' the other week). Going there on a Thursday night and losing in front of about 3K isn't going to swell our coffers much!

Bulls Giant Killing now makes them a big draw.

Don't the BBC usually do Double Headers for the QF or have Sky deffo got one? Agreed don't want to be playing Thurs or Friday night.

I think Bulls vs Fax/Wakey/KR are better ties for the BBC than Bulls vs Saints/Ginats/Wolves/Catalans/FC

If I remember right, last year BBC showed 2 and Sky showed 2. So if it's the same, all games are televised.

The one positive of Halifax would be a championship side guaranteed to be in the semi final draw.

Apart from that I think we are in danger of cheapening our biggest derby. We play them 4 times already.

Have you seen the fixture congestion this causes for us and fax already at this stage? With part timers it’s ridiculous. I reckon we refuse to field a side at barrow. The 1895 trophy is only there because superleague sides aren’t capable of filling Wembley on challenge cup final day.

Halifax at home in the Quarter Final. Another derby day for the club.

Not as exciting as some of the other possible ties, but ultimately probably the best for us.

Best draw for the club imho, irrespective of the number of times we play them. Genuine chance of a CC semi final here. Bring it on!

Well it’s Fax, I hope the beeb see the potential in this match and what it would mean for both clubs to earn a spot in the semi finals. Halifax will be well up for this game and it should be a real humdinger of a contest. On the back of the wave of positivity from the Leeds match, we might well target another 10k crowd if they can price it right.

It will probably be on Sky.

Interestingly, it says 'ties over the weekend of June 1st / 2nd, hopefully it literally means Saturday or Sunday - not Friday or even Thursday. Although I guess Friday evening on Sky wouldn't be so bad!

We need to be pitching the tickets right for this one - a bit cheaper than for Leeds, or maybe some sort of 'bring kids for £2' or something. It would be a real damp squib after yesterday to end up with 4K rattling around Odsal. Hopefully I'm being overly pessimistic on that...
