I also think it's a fallacy that Radford inherited a very good side. We started 2014 with Crookes, Crooks, Miller, Tuson, Whiting, Arundel in our 1-17. Radford replaced these with Fonua, Tuimavave, Sneyd, Manu, Minichiello and Connor.
I also think it's untrue that we are a dull side to watch in terms of attack. With the personnel Radford has recruited in the pivots I actually think we overplay at times. Some of our centreplay this year with Carlos, Connor and Griffin has caused oppositions problems and been great to watch.
I agree with the view that Powell is a very good coach - so he should be 19 years of experience one way or another. But the reality is Radford's delivered more in 5 years, so this should not be dismissed so readily.

Stay on topic mrs b , what’s this got to do with the Catalan game . But since we are of topic, did anyone see the quality of the st George v parramatta game , wow , now that is proper rugby league , I miss it
eels v st George was a great advert for rl,superb game, some great tries and a 30000 plus crowd, with both sets of fans sat amongst each.no crowd trouble,no segregation,no bottles throw.uk sport take note.

Same with Toronto. Basically every home game is a beer festival yet there doesn't appear to be any bother. No pissheads screaming abuse, no aggression or fighting in the stands, nobody spoiling the occasion for others.

If only we could go to the Kcom expecting to see games like this. The best I've seen in a long time.
yes,the kcom stadium rarely delivers exciting games with great atmosphere.few away supporters bother coming, most away teams do come pumped up,unfortunatly hull players dont seem to like playing at home for whatever reason.after 7 home games this season the only times that hull have looked interested have been 20 mins against leeds and the second half against rovers.the rest has been average to rubbish

Yeah, let's hope it doesn't catch on.

Hull will give us a tough game but the key is to silence their fans in the Threepenny Stand. We have to do this because if we do'nt they will get behind their side and lift them in a way you've never seen, heard or witnessed before.

I didn't think we'd win but couldn't compromise myself by backing Catalans. I'd feel treacherous. Stupid but true. See the bookies have us as early favourites to beat Cas. Hope their right this time.
