Hope you beat them, can't see it because of jet lag etc, but full Kevin Keegan "Luv it if..."

There's an outside chance that Leigh could go into 3rd following the weekend fixtures. First concern is for us to beat Sheffield but then this party would like you to thwart our potential two place leap up the table and bloody The Trannies' noses so hard that they'll seem to have maple leaves splattered across their faces.

Good Luck! Especially to those getting the "coach from The Top" to Canada.

Btw, Hamster Chops (hope you're well) is correct in saying that there was a softening of stance from the Canadian immigration bods. Though there have still been instances of problems since. The whole thing's a farce - and that should be the epitaph on Nigel's outsize gravestone! :SHOOT:

A little bit worried about this fixture. Having to play this game straight after the Easter 4, I just hope there is something left in the tank.

Realistically I wouldn't expect any points from this tie regardless of timing but I'd hope we aren't on the end of a pasting.

Agree it's a tough ask. But as it would be tough time to play anybody after the Easter 4 it might be better to be playing someone that we wouldn't necessarily expect to beat.

For me this a free hit for the lads. Hope we don’t get a pasting as I don’t want our Points Difference affected too much. If we had a fully fit squad I’d say we would be in with a chance based on how Toronto have played so far. On the flip side they always turn it on at home. Should be interesting. Not expecting much like.

Daft question but are we the ‘biggest’ club that will have been over there so far?

EDIT - Nevermind, had a look back and the biggest clubs to go over to Lamport Stadium so far are Hull KR, London Broncos and Leigh.

TBH if they start the way they have they will be despite seeming to look better 2nd half which is down to the opposition fading, which will not happen with Boom Boom's team.

JK is being a bit disingenuous getting the Easter 4 match excuse in, while that might be a factor may not encourage players to step up for this challenge,

If they lose by less than 2 try's the Bulls will have done OK! A win would be a fillip for everyone!

I spotted that from JK as well. Having a moan about the timing of our trip to Toronto and even mentioning that we couldn't train properly because of the logistics? What?

The excuses are out there already for when Toronto hammer us.

I'm not sure it's getting excuses in, merely giving his opinion on how tough it will be. Possibly even a few mind games going on. Anyway if we do get a bit of pasting, we won't be the only side it happens to who travels to Toronto this year.

I suppose there are two ways of looking at it. It's probably the worst time for us to be going there to have a realistic chance of winning as JK is right, the heavy Easter schedule and short turnarounds combined with an extra game due to the challenge cup, places us at a massive disadvantage for this game especially when other sides have been able to play their away fixture in this country.
On the flip side, as it's a game we'd be underdogs for anyway whenever it was played, then it shouldn't make too much of a difference to our season. Also, it's probably worked out well by having the Leeds game straight after rather than a side we should beat but where the after affects of this trip could adversly affect that.
