Aaah are you the chap with the made-up pilot friend who said it would be impossible for even an experienced pilot to hit the towers?

Quite. And how dare Bullseye wax lyrical on the NHS or others on their fields of knowledge. I also recall we've heard from folk in education and construction on here, amongst others. God forbid anyone should discuss a field they are experienced and knowledgeable in, eh?

Remember what you have said about them, something that we both agree on. The dreaded second referendum looks ever more likely and we look like remaining in Brexit limbo for some little while. My views on Brexit are well documented but, a second referendum to solve the impasse is just bizarre.

He did though. He claimed anyone could fly a plane into the twin towers with no training. Thing is my best mate is a pilot, now for Qantas Claims that it would be 100% impossible for someone who trained in a crop spraying plane with no experience of a commercial jet liner to pull it off. But hey. He’s obviously lying and Cronus knows best

He's your 'best' mate now is he? Even my 5 year old has grown out of pretend friends.
So, Ruuuune, tell me, if it wasn't the hijackers, who was it? Suicidal expert pilots? Remote controlled aircraft? (because flying an aircraft by remote control would be so much easier, obviously) Missiles with holographic wings? Drones? Mass hysteria? And what happened to the real aircraft and passengers? Take your tin foil hat off and enlighten us, because if you're so certain it wasn't the hijackers, you must know what it was.
Anyway, get yer facts right. They had quite a bit of training and had logged hundreds of hours. Some had many hundreds of hours in simulators (including B737 and B767), and some held commercial pilots licences. They didn't need be any good at take-off, landing, or most of the complexities of flying. To achieve their mission they simply needed to navigate to their target and descend into it. It was a perfectly clear day with calm conditions and visibility probably over 50 miles at altitude.
Yes, there are some questions over controlling the aircraft at high speed at fairly low altitude, but for every pilot who insists it can't be done, there are plenty who say it can. There are forums full of squabbling pilots to this day (don't bother, the technicalities are probably beyond you). Either way, you know what, I reckon it can be done simply because it was.

*makes note to avoid Qantas*
He is my best mate yeah. With over 10,000 flying hours since he qualified. Before I go any further with replaying to your post, how many flying hours do you have as a commercial airline pilot?
