Just a genuine question; By my own admission I'm no scholar of the game but I think I can identify when a back has a bad game Eg bad defensively, can't convert opportunities or susceptible under a high ball but I find it difficult to gauge how a forward is performing. Eg When everyone was raving about Robbie Mulhern I couldn't see what was distinguishing him from the rest.
Any subtle pointers to look out for in my next game...?
Addy is at best an average utility player, he can cover various positions without excelling at any of them, makes plenty of errors and gives away needless penalties. He should be no where near any fit 17 IMO.
Points difference tells a story if you look at the league. Rovers are just leaking too many points to compete. Let’s be realistic, Leeds are poor. Anyone else apart from rovers and London would turned them over with ease today.

Imo, fans tend to stress effort, attitude and desire. And there’s probably some of that. Maybe though there’s some comfort in that because it seems fairly easy to fix, or it justifies anger, which is over and done with more quickly that despondency.
The underlying issue imo is the amount of quality we have been able to get out on the pitch in recent SL seasons. The teams we’ve fielded have been generally undersized, injury-ravaged and error-prone. Grit-toothed determination and rousing half-time speeches are not going to regularly bridge the gap.
The club did magnificently to pull itself out of the mire in 2017 and 2018, but we’ve been feeding on scraps to build our squads for a while. I don’t mean to be disrespectful, and there’s some good pros in there, but not many who’d scare opponents.
Anyway, i’m going to renew my lapsed lottery membership as a way of making myself feel better, virtue signalling or whatever.

Now seriously in the brown stuff.Every game without a win and it gets worse. At some point London are going to win and we can,t seem to buy one. Points diff is worth a league point when teams are level on wins, losses, draws, and it,s a sorry state when we might have to rely on exactly that. Oh well next up Saints and that does not bode well. Maybe we will eventually get some bodies back, maybe we will win some games, maybe we will get through a game without losing another player to injury, maybe I will win the lottery(but I won,t).Something has to change and quick. On a positive note we eventually scored a few points, but defence is killing us. Does this team have it in them mentally to start playing smart, ie, completing sets, not giving away cheap possession, slowing it down if and when in front, play boring if necessary, value possession and let the opposition make the mistakes. This team seems a bit dumb at times or am I been too harsh? Bottom line..too many are not up to it. If we go down, we will deserve too,but with this squad, even with the injuries we have we should not. If we do, that,s down to the coach. Even average/poor teams can win with the right tactics, and we need some wins by whatever it takes.

Yes absolutely, Rovers have now officially the worst defence in super league. Defence wins you games, and on that basis Rovers haven't a chance of remaining In super league in my opinion unless a major change is made within the coaching set up and London become even worse than they currently are. We are going from bad to worse at the moment and once again things don't look good at all.

Just got to say that if you take the really bad thumpings by Saints and Warrington out of it, then for the most we have competed in all the other games.
I still think you will be okay as London's heads have gone down now after a good start, but should you lose to London then it will be a problem.
