I'm sure they won't want to lose him.

Yeah he was touted as the the real deal back end of last season wasn't he. What's that other half back from Humberside called? Not sure wether he is at FC or KR. Might be just 18 or younger.

I guess uncle Derek has found his chequebook again.

I wonder if he has an "Uncle Dezza" clause in his contract, stating that if he doesn't rip up the aforementioned contract when demanded by Derek, then he will be held completely responsible for the insolvency of the club?

Genuine question please Charlie: How do you think the players who have signed this year were explained the bullying shenanigans to shed highly paid (if underperforming) players from last year?

I'm certainly no rugby player, but in my line of work, I would think twice about joining a company where the firm could get rid of me, and blame me for it because they gave me a big contract.

Friday,as far as I know we are paying much smaller contracts than last season, but I never really concern myself with money players are on, it’s private really.
I agree they say never go back in any occupation, but it has worked for us up to now, myself I’m a big Brierley fan and am delighted to see him back.
What went on last season, was very puzzling we needed to unload the big contract men , Derek did that and we are slowly progressing again.

Is Deggsy still at the helm then? I thought he was handing the club over?

That surprises me. I’m more interested in how the Leigh fans will react to him returning. Wasn’t he pretty much cast out as a Judas after jumping ship with Rowley to Toronto and playing games over contracts to earn more money?

Maybe I’m wrong but it would seem a bit like us resigning kopczak :)
