Rugby League is essentially a simple game but we seem to have forgotten the basic skills....

Tackle around the legs one down and one up ... opponent can’t run and can’t pass and will go down and stop a quick play the ball

Run onto the ball with aggression and pace.... we might then make the odd tackle bust

Don’t pass to a man standing still....

Both of London’s non intercept tries would have been stopped by a ‘proper’ tackle...... but both tacklers went ‘high’

What Woolford is coaching god only knows because to quote him great ‘D’ doesn’t work with poor tackling.

Our much vaunted fitness also looks suspect several players were blowing hard after just 10 minutes and we really do ‘flatline’ during games.

A big improvement required after a very ‘sobering’ Easter weekend that was seven minutes off ‘totally going pear-shaped’ !!!

Standing a little deeper in attack wouldn’t hurt either! How many intercepted tries have we had scored against us this season???

three in the last three games.

we dont have the pace in the team to catch anyone when a team intercepts.

murphy and joe wardle look to be blowing all the time especially joe wardle.

woolford said our attack was woeful and he may make changes.... but again we have missed gaskell so not sure what he can change!

he said the tackling was poor too, with the 3rd man not doing his job correctly

certainly gone backwards over easter and not looking forward to playing warrington

I can’t remember the last time we had a good Easter- even the year we won the shield we lost good Friday.
