Typical guff comment that bears no relation to the original point made.
Which was what exactly ? I am sorry for offending our rose tinted fans just because I happen to disagree with them. I was very happy to come away yesterday with 2 points after a tremendous fight back but I just want to see a bit more from the team

What a game, this division is really something else.

We still looked disjointed on attack and our defence, which has been our main attribute so far this year, was poor by comparison to the usual standards. But we won; our untidy mix of smart and not quite so smart paid off in the end.

What really impressed me was the grit and determination, both to hang in, against a decent quality Championship side, when things were going against us and to come back in the later stages, when by rights given all the long periods of defending we'd been doing, added to the short turn around meant we really should have been the side buckling under the pressure, not Fax. Onwards and upards.

Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.

As JK says, wins like this against strong championship sides will prove to be character building.
We just need to start off with the right intensity and concentration and then keep it up. We have clearly got the firepower to trouble any team and a bit more of the above and we can be back to shutting sides down to two tries per game.

We need to win 3 out of the next 4 league games. If we can do that then we will have the position and momentum to make a serious assault on the top 5. I for one have the belief that we can do just that.

We don't need to rush out and sign anybody. if Milnes needs a rest then play Pickersgill.

I'm really positive that something good is going to happen these next few seasons.

Well you accused me of wearing rose tintered spectacles for daring to suggest that things are looking good, based upon our league position. The accusation is plain idiocy, but not to suggest you are an idiot - I wouldn't go that far.

Sorry where did I say YOU had rose tinted glasses ? You started the “ typical bulls fan” crap. I will go that far you are an idiot if you think all’s well in this team.

Look I suggest you reread all posts in this exchange. You will realize that this post you just made is essentially a description of your posts made towards me, not the other way around as you currently believe.

Look I have read the thread and if I have taken “all looks good for mine “ the wrong way then I apologise. I am far from a “ typical negative bulls fan” I just don’t think playing well for approx 40 mins over the last 2 games to be good, even if we did win them both. Again sorry for any offence caused with my “guff” remarks.

Happy to leave it at that - thanks for your rebuttal - and FWIW I apologise for accusing your remarks of being "guff", which to be fair was slightly caustic.

And as the sun beamed through the sparse clouds, the two noble bulls fans embraced. All was forgiven.
