Yes, he's doing well because he wants to show off to his new team/fans. Trouble is, when things aren't going well at Fev, I suspect his inconsistency will reassert itself

You could literally say this about any halfback ever. Halfbacks can only be influential when the pack is on top to give them space with the ball.

Fev are just tearing York apart. This team that we all underestimated with a prop at half back - they've put their half on the bench and kept the prop on the field to start off with. Says to me that he can't be that bad but many people canned Bradford for only just beating them!

Chisholm having a great game. Kicking game is great. Chisholm has 3 try assists (one from a grubber, 2 from passes) and created another 2 through creating a 3 v 2 situation. Plus 5 conversions. Controlled this game.

Scored and chalked another conversion. Fev 40-6 York. Chisholm class. Man of the match.

As someone said earlier let's see how consistent he is. When he's firing on all cylinders you wonder why he's not getting a sniff from a top flight club. But then the lingering doubt starts to kick in over time as performances slide. There's a reason he is grubbing around down in the lower leagues.

I seriously hope that we have a clause that he can’t play against us.

But its us after all, so watch him tear us to shreds too. :x

Very good debut, but we all know what he is capable of so it's hardly a surprise for him to be man of the match today. Lack of consistency is what has kept him at this level for so long though. As fans I guess we appreciate some flashes of individual brilliance but I guess the coaches look for more than just that.

No point looking back though. Kear believes we are better off without him and for me he's doing a pretty decent coaching job even if his style and methods aren't to everyone's taste.

Dane has left now. Time to move on and forget about him.
