I’d say there looked 400-500 Huddersfield fans on the western terrace, a very reasonable following. Our victory today leaves the relegation battle wide open, London are obviously favourites, but if they pick up a few more wins there are several in contention for the drop.

A much better second half. Leeds are very very poor. Brad Dwyer was their best player but in the second half they were so poor. Ferres and JJB would struggle to get into the Halifax side. Championship quality at best
Giants could have won the game having given them 30 start .
Macintosh easily best Giants player. Very encouraging to have cough back. Uate May be injured. I’m trying to decide if that’s a loss
Was baffled by Woolford team selection for one. English is fit yet Hewitt plays. The smallest half back in the league and the smallest 2nd rower in the league down the same side as Konrad Hurrell. English should have played prop and Taai should have been in the 2nd row against Hurrell. That said, even when Hurrell went off we struggled just as bad 1st half.
We make far too many errors and concede too many penalties and even at 30-0 at half time the game was there for the taking.
Ollie Russell had a shocker first half. Granted behind a beaten pack but that doesn't excuse the errors he made in the first half. Wasnt the only one. I've never seen so many stray passes and passes into touch. Im going to be honest, id rather not see that combo of Russell and Hewitt together again for a while, unless its against someone like London.
As Jools said, Joe Wardles none attempt to stop Briscoe was extremely poor. He would have had him in touch.
Matagi will live off that Cas performance because the rest of the time hes dire. I hope he doesn't get a new deal.
Fair play to the lads for having a dig in the 2nd half though.
A couple of strange calls at the end. Jake Wardle got penalised for a knock on with the Leeds player messing around with the ball and our disallowed try. The 2nd or 3rd Leeds try also shouldn't have been given as he was miles off side.
3rd & 4th spot too far out of reach. Slim slim chance of 5th.
If we take London for granted we will be 0 from 2 at easter and back in the mix for relegation , never mind the top 5. If our two first choice halves don't play we seem to have very little chance of winning, when is this Holmes going to be ready to have a go? We definitely need better cover on the halves because Gaskell misses games on a regular basis, and i don't see that changing.
Woolford ‘warm up was poor we came out like a team that only thought we could win’ ‘we thought we prepared well but the guys were not at the races’
Oh dear the Coach and his merry band of assistants condemned from Woolfords own mouth !!
The players well... honourable mentions for Darnell, Clough, Lawrence and OBrien that’s about it although I thought Uate did ok for a winger that never gets a pass. His tackle that was followed by a shameless surrender by a shocking non attempt to tackle Briscoe by Joe Wardle deserved more.
Kruise Leeming should have been dragged off after the second Leeds try from Dwyers kicks where he only had to fall on the ball to prevent the try but stood and watched. He was very poor all round.
The clincher for me was when Clough was encouraging them to a scrum on the Leeds 20 to stop the clock at 18-32 no one was really bothered even though Leeds were rocking at that point again ‘shocking’
In 58 years of watching this team the first half yesterday was one of the most abject surrenders I have seen 0-30 to the poorest Leeds team in 50+ years the whole playing and coaching staff should ‘hang their heads in shame.’

How poor were we? Well given Leeds had two players yellow carded, and missed 50 tackles in the game shows how poor we were.
About as poor as the hudds crowd, who were silent. Most of em probably too or too stunned to make any noise.
Anyone explain the decision by Hicks where Darnell scored next to the sticks, he didn’t award the try, but instead awarded us a penalty? I just don’t understand how he’d allowed play on but then didn’t award the points.

Try was on a forward pass (which it was) so went back to the pen
