Anyone know where i can get a bet on that Lilley and/or Milnes will pick up an injury over Easter.

Or couse i jest, but with our luck this season its almost guaranteed to happen.

How can Fev afford to pay his wages! as they are always getting loan players from Leeds you would have thought they were on a tighter budget

I suspect we're still paying some or all of them.

IF we are paying all his wages, then getting rid of him can only be because he is a bad influence around the camp. Why else would we let him go to a rival?

Knowing our luck the performances of Chisholm will end up costing us a playoff spot in favour of Fev! Hopefully does a job for us this weekend against York!

At this moment in time I am more concerned with what we do rather than our so called competitors.

Well from the comments on Twitter he was well liked and will be missed by at least some of the team.

Anyway the deal is done, we will have to trust JK's judgement on this for the time being. I would be surprised if we can sign a halfback any better in mid season but we shall see. Perhaps fullback is a bigger priority anyway if funds have been freed up.

It seems like Chisholm and Kear clashed. The tweets from Bulls players show he was well liked, I just wonder if Chisholm thought he had enough backing from the team to try and dictate terms to Kear as he thought he could rely on the other players to back him in any argument. Trouble is, when a player takes on a coach, there's only going to be one outcome and it's bye bye player.

The story in the T&A has Kear saying that the decision to not extend Chisholm's deal beyond this year so I wonder if he was a disruption after being told he wasn't getting a new deal and that's what's caused his move

As he has gone we won't be paying his wages

I'd imagine a large chunk at least will be paid by Fev. It was common knowledge he'd been offered around and Hunslet & Newcastle were interested but wages were a stumbling block.
