Cory Aston doesn't get a game at every club his dad isn't head coach for a reason. I don't know the reason, but it's not coincidence.

Brierley is full of his own hype. You'd be replacing Chisholm with someone exactly the same but with less affection for the club and someone who doesn't have his own overpriced business to promote through the club.

Oh, and Webster will almost certainly be on more £££ than Chisholm.

The only thing I'm prepared to retract is that Chissy is possibly not the highest earner. I hadn't factored Webster in that and you MAY well be correct. The rest stands.

Jy Hitchcox is also one of the higher earners, if not the highest earner.

If Chisholm is missing from this weekends games I assume the nail is in the coffin and he’s off to Newcastle. There’s no reason for him to be missing at such a busy time of year for the squad.

Personally I agree, I would have loved to see the player who first came to the club. I genuinely believe regardless of the injury he hasn't been fit enough for me. I also think possibly his work with Kieran Moss was never going to be replicated. I have to admit I thought he was going to kick on from the Oldham play off game last year he had a different side to his game and managed the game brilliantly, unfortunately we haven't seen the best of him since going bust

I'm hearing he's gone on loan for the season to Newcastle.

So he's not even off the payroll. Unbelievable.

Do you know this for sure?

Would very much depend on the terms of the loan agreement. Newcastle may be paying anything between 0 and 100% of his wages.

I would imagine Newcastle have some money available with Liam Finn leaving after about 4 games.

I see Margrin has gone on loan to London Skolars for a month which is bonkers with Easter coming up. He could have done a job against Barrow & Rochdale.

Now there's a player who would solve the full back issue
