Small crowds being smaller than normal 800 at Fax last night. Without ST owners turning up we could get crowds of 400 with a bad home draw. Gate receipts shared so even less money.

Fax are no mugs, in fact I think they were the best Championship side I saw at Ealing last year, but whatever way you look at it that is a very disappointing result last night.

Not too disappointing to be out of CC but we should not be losing that game.

I was being sarcastic, their fans are pretending they are glad they lost but I don't recall seeing any pre game comments of I hope we lose.

Let Halifax fans have their day in the sun. For us staying in Super League has to be our aim. For Halifax playing in Super League is a far off memory and in the future, an impossible dream.
What worried me about yesterdays game was that we rested a few, but still risked, Battye, Pitts, Gee and Cunningham. As CMG said, we should have played the kids and fringe players only.
Catalan next Thursday gives us a chance of two points. Points are what we need, not a cup run.
