Gender neutral toilets are not new, they have always existed in bars restaurants and people’s homes. I think you have probably read some fake news if you think this about schools, more likely budget cuts means refurbishing and maintaining one set of toilets is cheaper than two.
Sadly despite the efforts of LGBT groups, homophobia and transphobia is still very common. One in five LGBT people have experienced a hate crime or incident because of their sexual orientation and/or gender identity in the last 12 months.

I tend to agree - I'm involved in oversight of 7 schools, and none of them have gender neutral toilets "so that kids can decide what gender they are" - that sounds like a copy/paste from the comments section of the Daily Mail website. We do have shared toilets though, just like we all have at home, because school budgets are cut to the bone, and it's preferable to retain an SEN coordinator, for example, than to have extra bogs.

Agreed, would be even better if urinals were banned and replaced with toilet cubicles, why Men are expected, in the 21st Century, to stand next to someone else whilst having a wee is archaic.
If everywhere had cubicles, then it wouldn't matter.

Ask Ian McEwan how he was treated when he suggested having a penis is a good indicator of gender.

Spot on. Victims will always be victims.
Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid. Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal. Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.
The best way to deal with all this is allow men and women to compete against each other in every sport. If men and women truly are equal then let’s see then. In some sports they may compete but the majority they won’t stand a chance.
