Ah yes. Sure I remember reading his name when I first saw it. Must have been seeing things!

To be fair Oakes was listed in one squad and Milnes in another

Ah, that would explain it. Because Milnes is the one in the squad list that I hadn't noticed the first time. I was going from the list that was on the Bulls site (not the image), and that doesn't seem to be there anymore. Glad I'm not going mad!

Oakes was named in the T&A but not Milnes.

I'm happy that Sykesy doesn't seem to be in their squad, since he always seems to save his best games of the season for us. I know I don't see him every week, so I base my assumption that his best games are always against us on the basis that, if they weren't, and that was his normal level, then he'd be in the England squad...and he isn't!

Wasn't the best performance, but a win is a win.

Grinded that out, but how often have we been unable to do that in this league?

Defensively we were excellent as always, but in attack we looked out of tune. (to he expected with probably our 9th different 1,6,7 combo). Never really felt we were in danger of losing though.

Happy to take the points. Hopefully Evans injury isn't serious or long term.

I was probably only a matter of time before Evans got injured, what with his track record. The squad depth is good in this area, as it is across the board actually. The depth has been impressive all year to be fair. I didn't think Grant would get much game time but he took his chance well today.

Overall, solid performance. We didn't look like we' throw that away once we went in front.

I hear Evans has done his shoulder. Looks bad.

We ground it out. Dewsbury are no mugs. At times they were the better side, particularly in the first half.

Our attack was slow and predictable as per usual. We improved 2nd half but 1st half we were pretty awful.

Still, it's 2pts.

Another patchy performance from the Bulls today. Dewsbury are always up for it when they play us so I’m happy we’ve come away with the points. It was very stop start and neither team could get any type of flow going. We did enough to win it in the second half and did some good defensive work throughout the game.

Gutted to lose Evans as he has been one of our better players so far this season. Big improvements needed again if we are to overcome Fev next week.
