Disappointed he's gone. A player with real X factor but not given a fair go imo. They're players performing worse than Hakim yet they don't seem to get dropped. Looks like he was Radford's fall guy this season.

Underperforming players , under performing coach , something needs to change , imo both , need to loose some players and bring in new ideas , because it’s getting really boring

How will we know if he was good enough. He never got a consistent run in the team apart from a few games on the wing last season when he actually did really well. He's been hung out to dry this season by Radford who's job it is to manage him and improve him as a player. Few brain farts aside he is an exciting and committed player but clearly didn't fit into our rigid and robotic like structures.

He would make a good stand off, but with Kelly/Jake/Carlos even Washy. Hakim was always up against it, I agree it’s hard on the kid really, full back certainly didn’t suit him, he got criticised for his wing performances, but I thought apart from the Cas game, he did OK.
Makes you wonder though, when you see Theo Farge at Saints finally ousting Richardson, he looks a good fit. And Wigan seemingly having a similar dilemma with Escare who won’t get the full back job, and this season until Williams departs can’t get in the side. Maybe it’s a recurring French thing.

I though he could have made a good winger, too many weaknesses for FB or SO, his passing, defence and kicking not good enough to play that position in SL.
I likeed him and hope he goes well, but think it's the right decison for him and the club.
I think people are forgteting that we only see him for a few games, whilst Radford sees him just about everyday and we have no idea what his attitude off the field is like or what he does in training.

I know it was only the reserves Dave but Hakim ran the show at stand off, setting up countless chances with crisp passing and explosive running, well never know now I suppose.
I see him as a bit of a ticking timebomb off the pitch, He comes across as a bit of a 'character' when I've met him and I reckon it won't be long before he implodes. Undoubtedly he has some natural flair but as for sticking to structure and game plans i'm not so sure. Right decision in my opinion but good luck to him and I hope he succeeds.
