Should be an interesting game. Matt Davis is in line for his debut with us only a week after playing for you! We're resting Jack Hughes and Jake Mamo is injured but Atkins, Goodwin and Akauola return to the squad. Safe trip up to those who are visiting.

Well done Wire. I remember a few years back, Wigan and Hull both running schemes specifically targeting London and Catalan games as an "opportunity" to build interest from NEW FANS........I am lead to believe that Heinz Big Soup being a small sponsor of SL for a number of years came from an initiative at Wigan where Heinz were sold a great number of tickets for a knock down price to give to their employees...... ....too many clubs (ours included) see marketing like this as devaluing the product, but Banks (and Drug dealers) always entice customers with knock down offers at the start, so you have to say there is some merit in it!
JESUS WEPT HOW MANY TIMES????? £20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000. The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.
Radio Warrington is the local community radio station for Warrington.
It is non professional and we do whatever we can to support activities in the community.
That includes giving commentary on rugby league games.
So if you are looking to listen in
Full coverage from 7:30 - use the tunein app or shout "radio warrington" at your smart speaker or use one of the players on the radiowarrington.co.uk site
I think 1332am - medium wave in glorious mono is possibly not an option in London . We broadcast for about a 10 mile radius
6-7:30 there's an interview with Neil Kelly about Warrington Wolves foundation (the charity arm of the club) and what they are doing

Seems we have had a number of chances so far but have been unable to convert them, whereas Warrington seem to be able to score at will as soon as they get near our line.
I'll take that against the 2nd best side in the comp.......Huddersfield losing to Wakey keeps them in sight, so at this stage it's Hudds, London and Leeds in the frame with maybe HKR getting dragged back down. Leeds v Huddersfield and Wakey v Leeds is a massive weekend for Furner and Leeds in general......if we can get 2 points over that period and Leeds get none, I reckon "new structures" will be in the blueprint phase...

No shame in losing to Warrington as we did, blooded a couple of young lads which is a positive. We would not have put this one down for a win, so we move on. Bring on Easter, not bothered about the cup.
