Does anyone have a clue whats going on with the new stock arriving at the club shop.

In January they had sold out of all shirts bigger than a size medium (which basically means all adult sizes given how small they are)
I think all the track tops also sold out almost straight away as well.

Initally we were told that a new supply would be coming in in mid Feb, well thats a month ago now and suprise supries no communication from the club.

How can it be that adults are unable to buy shirts and other merch 7 weeks in to the season. I know loads of people wanting to make purchases.
I feel its a big income stream we are completely failing to take advantage of.

Have the club made another balls up? Have we been let down by Kappa?
Can anyone shed any light?

Sounds like someone's made a balls up if this is going on.

I was told larger shirts would be available in February.

When I went into the shop in February and asked again when beer-loving adult sized shirts would be available, I was told: "No idea"

Not really helpful. But it has saved me £50 by not buying a thin, cheap looking shirt.

I've been going up regular. I got mine for a Xmas present and it goes nowhere near me and I've been waiting to get it changed for a bigger size. All they say is we have no idea when there coming in. I'm fed up of being fobbed off. If they don't have it next time I'm up there I'm asking for my money back.

There was a rumour on Twitter going round a month or so back, and may have even been reported on the Love RL gossip column, that an un-named club was in dispute with a kit supplier and give the shenanigans that have gone on since we switched to Kappa I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s us. Even if not, something is going on, we’ve left ISC with a year to go on the contract (I think, may be wrong), and consequently bungled our way into getting a load of shirts completely the wrong size in. Given the balls up with the away shirt a couple of years ago, you have to suspect that the error lies at Odsal rather than at two separate kit makers. Still, I’m sure our glorious leader Mr. C will be letting us know yet again how the chairmen of Wigan and Sheffield know nowt about running a club compared to him in his next matchday missive.

That said, it’s a huge shame. There has been a hole burning in my pocket for both the shirts since they were announced, and I can’t be the only one.

I like the new jersey but having seen the quality in the shop I decided against it. They didn’t have my size anyway.

These back office balls ups seem to be a common theme. At least the spelling has improved on the press releases and social media. I think the culprit has gone on to bigger things, last seen as part of the UK Government Brexit negotiating team.

Joking apart the club can ill afford this sort of shambles.

It may not be relevant but leisurewear from Kappa, ordered before Christmas, and replica shirts ordered post-Christmas,have NOT arrived for West Wales Raiders followers.

There is also this from LAST YEAR

I called into the shop last week, and enquired if the larger shirt sizes had arrived as I needed to change the one I received as an xmas gift.
The ladies were quite embarrassed when they told me that they still hadn't arrived. They had "no idea" when they were expected.
I did point out that we were promised delivery by mid February and we would be advised by email.
One of the ladies said " yes, perhaps we should send out an email to let everyone know they're still not received".
Brilliant idea - communication is good, even when delivering bad news. Still no email.
Perhaps emails / letters to Mr C stating that "time is of the essence in this matter", together with a date for delivery or full refund would be appropriate.
At this rate, the season will be half over before they're received, and I won't be impressed. Unfortunately, this is yet another PR mess from the club

Sounds like everyone has had the same spiel i have.
"We dont know when the shirts will be in".

But that doesnt provide any explanation as to what the actual issue is.

I was hoping there might be someone on here thats in the know or can explain what on earth is going on??
