So far as I can tell it originates from the Batley forum on TRL

Scroll down a bit!

Not exactly a verified source, but who knows?

Thought we performed admirably in what were pretty awful conditions. Defence looked sound all game and the grit and determination were obvious. For my money Jordan Lilley was a clear MOM for his organisation and kicking game, with maybe Bustin or Green coming slightly behind though, that said, the win was made by the pack who were a superb unit imo. Onwards and upwards.

He’d have been better staying with us as he’d probably be starting hooker now with Wildie in the halves. Given Flanagan’s contract runs out at the end of the year young Reiss could have been a regular with us in 2020. Instead he’s trying to get a loan deal to a club at our level anyway and in the meantime he’s twiddling his thumbs.

Just goes to show the grass ain’t always greener at a SL side. Lads like him need to be playing.

Chisholm doesn’t look the player he was before his injury, he’s not got the same pace off the mark and without that X factor he’s not got the same game management qualities as Lilley or Keyes. I just hope Keyes can recover from his injury worries. I’ve high hopes for Rowan Milnes who isn’t far away from being the ideal stand off for us soon.

Yep a shame about Butterworth as he had a huge skill set. I really wouldn't leave the Bulls if I was a young player. We are probably one of the best clubs at developing and improving young players. I wonder where James Bentley, Luke Hooley, Joe Brown would have been now had they stayed with us. All huge potential. Its a scandal that Butterworth isn't playing.

With our chronic shortage of half backs and no return imminent it would seem for anyone you would hope we might be asking if he’s available for a month on loan

Isn't Butterworth on loan at Workington?

Lilley suffered a dead leg reported the 'Couldn't care less' Simon Parker in the T& A today. He was due to miss training today to help him recover in time for Widnes on Sunday.

To be fair, JK wasn't making much of it either in the post match interview, saying he would be given just 'treatment' early on and then proper training later in the week in the build up to the Widnes game. He seemed fully confident he would play next week.

Presumably there's grades of dead leg, ranging from "bereft of life, it rests in peace" to "just resting and pining for the fjords".
