Pure stupidity from James Green. No complaints about the red. Laughable ref have softest moving off mark ever against Margrin, yet "misses" sheffield taking out Hytchcox for their try.

Discipline killed us in the end. Thought we played well and the sending off was pathetic. Blackmore shoves his hand in his face but the elbow was obvious.

What was the red card for?

I thought we had grown up and stopped getting into stupid scraps.

(and I feel fine)

Frustrating. If it wasn't for Greens utter brain fart we'd have won that. Having seen Glovers & Knowles tries again,no way should either been awarded. Millar completely takes our marker out to give Glover a free run (when ref gave such a soft penalty against us earlier in the game for that, i'd love his explanation) Knowles gets now where near grounding it. Too many times ref just didn't seem to be watching.

Wouldn't like to be Green when Kear gets hold of him. Take it on the chin. Move on to York. I think we'll be right come the end of the season.

Definitely two points dropped there, thanks to James Green. He's already got a 2 match ban coming up and could get another 5 or 6 for tonight's red.
I don't think Lilley and Milnes are strong enough to both be on the pitch at the same time. Some nice creativity from Milnes in both of our scores but Lilley offered next to nothing - our kicking all night was dreadful. We missed Keyes, Chisholm, Webster, Bustin and Peltier big time tonight.

This could be pivotal for the final league standings because I can't see any of the other clubs with top 5 aspirations going there and getting beat - Sheffield were bang average and struggled to win despite having an extra man for 35 minutes.

Green's red a moment of madness that turned a tight game. I agree that there were some very strange decisions from the ref (some in our favor too) but in my honest opinion Sheffield deserved their win, Ben Blackmore created problems from dummy half all night. I thought Matt Garside showed up well, John Magrin......not so much.

I had forgotten that!! He wasn't effective with them on so he had no chance. I saw the part when he was at marker sort of bent forward arms out and Blackmore waltzed past, "unusual" technique, ugly video review session coming up.

Disappointed of course but tempered as I wouldn't be surprised if Sheffield with that side particularly on that pitch are tough for most sides.

Blackmore caused Mayhem all night. Thought it was poor decision to play a plodder at 13, I don't like this practice at any level. Rather have seen somebody more mobile and a big engine in there. Minchella or Garside would have been a good option, or anybody that can move sideways.

Milnes should his skill, but put in some weak kicks, to be expected though but I do like his attacking play.

Clearly the dismissal put us under increased pressure.
