As much as Radders will be in our hearts for what he has achieved, a fresh approach is needed. Classsic example of this is Kieran Cunningham. Towards the end of his tenure, saints were flat and some what predictable, picking up the odd win here and there but nothing spectacular. Cunningham was well respected by the club and fans alike, but change was inevitable. Saints rise and our decline in a short space of time are a great example of how quickly things can change. It's not long ago that we steamrollered them on their patch on the way to winning the cup. Fast forward a couple of seasons and they're a long way ahead of us. The core of each club's squad is pretty much the same as it was but they've advanced significantly whilst we've gone backwards

If Catalan were to get beat today, then the last 2 Super league champions and last 2 Challenge Cup winners will all be on zero points after 2 games. We're not in bad company.

Apart from last seasons super league champions (grand final winners) of course
