Lane over Langtree all day
I agree but Radford seems to want to make a statement about Langtree and Dawson so they will both play. so depressing to see that squad and the lack of pace.Little wonder fans call us dull and boring when we have Washbrook at 6 and a bench of forwards that consists of an ageing Paea and two very average players in Thompson and Langtree.Lane should get the fourth bench spot. Why name Litten when the ground will be heavy. He was never going to play. Miloudi may as well ask to be released as he is never going to to be a Radford player. HKR by 20 points for me and will score in the first 5 minutes. Griffin and Dawson as an edge what a joke. Radford out by Easter.Aussie coach will come with Gaz Ellis as his no 2.

I'm now hoping for a frozen pitch and the game to be postponed.
I really do feel this is going to be a very hard slog this season in both in terms of getting results and also having to sit & watch a dire, boring and quite frankly disappointing brand of rugby.
The fact we are down to only Sneyd with the absence of Kelly, Connor & Harris and Miloudi is not even even in the 19 has knocked the last few remaining bits of hope that we will actually go with more than the power tactics. The fact we've lost Ellis and Watts and not replaced them at all for me means we have no real threat of any sort either down the middle or out wide.
Maybe i'll be eating humble pie come 10pm Friday night but I can't see us getting anything from this game at all and unless Rovers defence is total shizzle I can't see us scoring more than 2 tries.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

imo i thought miloudi would have been in the 19, even Cameron scott at centre with tuime at 6, but its still a team that can win, every man and his dog is writing us off, lets see

Apart from the bookies who have us as marginal favourites. Just banged a wedge on us at 11/10. Keep the faith guys and dolls.

Radford is frightened to death of losing this game, he trusts Washbrook and was always going to take the safe option.
I have been more optimistic than most about this game, but I've got to be honest, if I was a KR fan looking down our team sheet I would see very little to concern me. I think the back line is actually OK (jury is out on Dawson Jones) even if it lacks a bit of pace. But its almost irrelevant because I can't see us being able to get much good quality ball to them. Sneyd can be creative when he wants to be so fingers crossed he steps up in the absence of Connor and Kelly. Taylor is excellent and we know what we are going to get with Houghton. The rest of the pack ranges from inexperienced to over the hill with a little bit of mediocre sprinkled in. Radford said today that the bench could prove the difference. I certainly hope not because ours looks poor.

I did fancy us to win before the squad was announced, but now there’s no Miloudi or Scott I’m not as confident. Radford knows more than me though so we’ll have to just hope he’s got it right . Maybe he’s gone on what he’s seen in pre season .

Wow....You must Really under rate Rovers even if you think those two would make a big difference

If he had gone on what he saw preseason then several players like Dawson,Langtree,Griffin and even Thomo who looks like he is running hard but is so easy to tackle wouldnt be in the starting 17. Seems to me if you look ok in training then you get the nod. Problem is Radford has his favourites and if you are not on the list like Miloudi you may as well move on. Their forwards will roll us down the field and a big chance we could be nilled in this game as apart from penalty kicks i cant see us scoring.

You’re right I do ... there’s not 1 of you’re team I’d want in ours , or think that any would get in . And regards the 2 players I mentioned, they’d have giving us a better balanced team .
