8 of Rovers winning team from July have left the club. McGuire, Tomkins & Masoe unavailable then will play this time plus of course the 6 new signings. I think Rovers will have a far stronger line up this time though undoubtedly Quinlan & Lunt are automatic picks who are unavailable, along with Scruton, Jewitt & Wardill .
I dare say Hull will be a lot stronger too and for me the results in trial games are immaterial they are just about building match fitness and trying out a few things.
I won't make a prediction but Rovers are 11/8 with the bookies and Hull 8/13. I think Rovers are the better bet at those prices.
