Will Albert Kelly have to wear head protection after the problem's he's had.Been quite a lot on the news about concussion and it seems like a problem for the future for a lot of sportsmen and women.

Head protection does very little to help concussions really. When you hit your head its the brain getting shaken around that causes the concussion, so whilst it might save you from say fracturing your skull, it's unlikely to help prevent concussion. Hence why so many NFL players have issues.

It's a difficult subject. Not sure what can be done tbh.

Kelly has put on his Instagram saying "Rehab day 1" and then him riding a bike saying "my best friend for a while" while then showing all the other lads outside training.
I hope by "a while" he only means 2 weeks! But I reckon we're gonna be without him for a bit longer.

Matches in the Championship Cup were subject to new rules with players not allowed to tackle above the armpit.

The number of concussions from upright tackles did fall markedly - as was hoped - but there was a drastic increase in concussive incidents around the breakdown, when both the ball carrier and tackler were bent at the waist.

Albert should retire so that he doesn’t have memory lapses and constant headaches in his late 40s onwards
The hit he took last season should have been the end of his great career
I truly feel he should have retired for his own sake
Once you’ve had 2 concussions then it’s time to retire on an Insurance based income until say aged 40

I think the club doctor and other professionals might just be a little more qualified to advise Albert, don't you?
