Morning all, we're coming down next Sunday by train. A few questions. Which tube station has the most wartering holes? We should get to Ealing around 12. We also looked at getting the overland train heading to Paddington after the game but the times jump from Saturday evening to Monday, that would suggest there are no trains running on a Sunday, is that right?
Thanks in advance. Enjoy your return to the top flight. ;) But not a week tomorrow.

1. Ealing Broadway has a number of watering holes near by.....but if we're being frugal (Yorkshire, right?) then HERE would be a good place to water......give yourselves 35-40 minutes to get to the ground (if you're in a group get an Uber)......
...on the other hand, if your weathy.......The Duke of Kent near the ground is reassuringly expensive :D
2. Trains don't run on Sunday.............
3. Thanks for the 2 points

JESUS WEPT :WALL: HOW MANY TIMES?????
£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.

There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them. :BEAT:

Cheers.
1.No Weatherspoons for us, have you been to Leeds lately? London prices. No we want a real cockney experience, flat beer, the old Joanna in the corner, Chelsea pensioners singing roll out the barrel, jellied eels, all that sort of stuff. Can't wait.
2. Trains run all day up north.
3. It's a pleasure, probably the only two you'll get all season.
Enjoy.

Yeah, Ealing Broadway has plenty of pubs. And then it's a 30 min walk to the ground, but lots of buses too.

Tube will get you to Paddington mate. Unfortunately due to cross rail works it’s bus replacement on Sunday

Taxi Rank right outside Ealing Broadway station costs about £10 to the ground, not much at all but if you want to save a few quid the bus stops are just along the same road and a few go right past the top of Valis way. Ask the driver which stop you need to get off at.

Don't know about your fitness levels folks but a fair bit of that 30 minute walk is UPHILL!
Just saying.
