Brilliant signing for warrington and should RIP it up alongside Austin. Saints, wire, Wigan and Leeds all making use of the marquee player rule. I doubt we ever will

We need to make use of the Marquee rule to compete . We seem to lack in the ability to attract Marquee talent. It is no coincidence that the other Clubs mentioned have Aussie Coaches either . They will attract players.

Or is it more to do with the fact that we didn't have any room available currently or the position Radford would want to utilise such to sign a marquee player is already filled.
I think after this season we may well see this happen as there are a number of players who will be going leaving much more room not only in cap space but position wise to bring a player in that will add to the team to make it worth while using the marquee rule.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

In terms of signings . At the moment being a Hull FC fan, is like being the Kid outside the sweet shop. Looking in through the window, watching other sides sign quality “Marquee “ players !

I would only spend marquee money on a top player and probably who plays a pivotal position, in those areas we have some good quality.
I think if we struggle again Pearson will spend next year and bring a marquee player, I would go all out for Elliot Whitehead, if he fancies coming home, also keep an eye on Bateman, as these English players often get homesick and we will have some serious cap space to play with next year.
Kelly wont be far off marquee money, ability wise he is as good as those marquee players signed this year, we just need to keep him fit and focused.
