If we didnt have Lilley and Keyes it would have been Chisholm and Milnes. You know them, the 2 halves that guided us around the field and led us to a resounding victory against York.
Not muzza or johno you would have white and champman smith but smith was also injured and whites registration was held up.. Not that we dont have cover but the cover was not able to play remove them four and struggle like we did

I think some sections of the Bulls' faithful are definitely getting a little carried away. Yes Halifax looked reasonably strong in the forwards on paper but they effectively had no rudder.
I know we were without Chisholm and have lost McNally but for some of the stuff on twitter and FB about SL is cringeworthy.
Personally anything above mid table this season is a bonus for me. It's strange but I don't have any hankering to return to SL.

I'm enjoying the rugby. I wouldn't say I've no interest in getting back to SL but it isn't A) likely to be anytime soon, or B) at the forefront of my mind.

I think some slack should be cut really - we've had several seasons of mediocrity, many without any hope of a future in the upper echelons of rugby league. Things just feel a little bit different now and the fans can feel it have a right to be hopeful of a productive season ahead irrespective of their choice of online discussion forum!

Maybe it's just me but I'm not reading any expectations from fellow fans that I think are unrealistic, either good or bad. The consensus appears to be that we will be the battle for 5th but mid-table is fine.
Unless I'm missing some Facebook based over optimism?
