45 tries in 105 Super League games with Wire doesn't suggest that he is 'poor' - I guess we'll have to see how it all pans out...

Stats can be misleading. Go and ask the Wire fans what they think of him...

Probably the first of our signings that I've been disappointed with. I don't rate this guy at all, in fact I remember openly laughing at his antics at Warrington on several occasions because he was so poor.

Now you can add a poor injury record to his repertoire and I'm genuinely scratching my head wondering why we've signed this guy.

Happy to eat my words over the course of next season but I'm more inclined to think I'll be saying 'I told you so' instead.

The thing I rated about him at Wire most was his defence. Excellent defensive centre, which although I appreciate he needs to be able to attack too, it'll be nice to not have people walk past him quite so easily.

To be fair, wires expectations are slightly higher than ours. I rated him personally.

Its a no lose situation for us. OK he had a poor year with injuries last year, but we wouldn't sign many players who had bad years with injuries. His comments from Leigh supporters aren't great, but there was obviously something rotten at the club hence they finished 6th with their squad.

But if worst case scenario he's always injured and he's rubbish, we have Webster, Gibson and Oakes to go there. He's on a 1 year deal, 26, and probably his last shot at playing in SL again so he should be motivated. If we get the best out of him, he's a very good player IMO

We have depth in every position. So we can take some risks. Not like the farce of 2016 where we had no HBs,.kept signing winger after winger and taking a Canadian scrum half in trial in last pre-season game.

We have signed worse players in SL. Chris Nero springs to mind.

He won't be the first or last player to do well at one club and then be poor at another for reasons we may never find out. He will be playing for his international coach and one who has a very good reputation of getting the best out of players that other clubs shy away from.
If he does enjoy his rugby again similar to Lilley then he could turn out to be a very good signing.
Most signings are a gamble as the debate we all had about re-signing Chizzy shows.
If he does produce the goods it will be a massive signing. If not, then he leaves in 10 months time.

Interesting signing from JK. Keep him fit and healthy and he'll cause a lot of problems in the Championship.

I heard it was Storton.
